Elegant color combinations , exquisite fabrics and sophisticated structures were the ingredients that made Gabriele Colangelo’s spring collection both intriguing and beautiful.
The overall look of the show referenced the minimalism of the 90s, an option that is very much in keeping with current trends. Many of the outfits were similarly tonal and textural, at times employing pleats under transparent silk or creative use of kidassia: For a handcrafted feel, the designer applied the tufty tone-on-tone material to necklines and hems or worked it as stripes, adding a ’70s inspiring touch.
