I’ve always been fascinated by old sumptuous buildings, that are hiding between their walls untold stories. I like to study their arhitecture, the high arches, ample columns and adorned capitels, which makes me dream with my eyes open at that time.

Such a spectacular building is Bazilescu  Summer Park Theatre, which today has remained only a memory of the old beautiful palace  This monument was one of the largest outdoor amphitheater from Romania, who gather up to 2,000 art lovers. The theatre was built in 1953, designed by architect Paul Emil Miclescu. Another time a jewelry, today only a ruin that lies in the indifference of the authorities. Summer Theatre is abandoned, left into disrepair.

However, the building still retains retains its special beauty and inspired us for a new special project. We managed to do the photos on our risk, as we have been cautioned by the guards, because the monument is in danger of collapse. Moreover, access is prohibited inside the theater, so we did the shooting outsite, to avoid incidents. Too bad, spectacular, yet desolate.
Together with my photographer, Alexandra Savu we want to reemphasize the spectacular old buildings.
